Handsome Hair Art

You can find us at number 2, Gandhi Path, right over in Vaishali Nagar. We are pretty close to the Bharat Apartment building, so it's easy to spot us if you're walking around. Handsome Hair Art is basically a place for people to come and get their hair sorted out. It’s not a huge space, but we have enough room for a few people to sit while they wait their turn. The mirrors are a bit old but they do the job just fine. I think people like coming here because we don't rush them out the door, even if there is a line forming. We talk about the weather or whatever is happening in the news while we work. Jaipur summers are no joke, so we try to keep the water cold for anyone who needs a drink while they wait. Most days it’s just cutting hair and maybe some beard trimming for the local men. We don’t use any of those fancy chemicals that smell too strong. It’s mostly just water and a bit of oil or cream. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, but we sweep it up every hour or so. It’s an honest living and we’ve been at this spot for a long while now. If you're nearby and need a trim, just pop in. We usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background to pass the time.
