Handicraft Palace

Handicraft Palace is over on Plot Number 12 along Mount Road. We are directly opposite Channi Carpet, which is a big landmark around here, so most people don't have too much trouble finding us if they know Ramgarh Mode. The road outside stays pretty loud with all the cars and bikes rushing past. Dust gets on everything if we don't keep the front tidy, so that's a job we have to do every single morning. The shop is filled with various items we've collected and moved around over time. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes because we keep getting new things in and don't always have a place to put them right away. My nephew helps out on the weekends and we usually sit near the back where it’s a bit cooler. Ramgarh Mode has changed a lot since we first set up here. There are more shops now and the traffic has definitely gotten worse. Still, we like being on Mount Road because everyone passes through here eventually. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the name of the place above the door. Most days it’s just us sitting with the fans going, waiting for someone to stop by or just watching the world go by through the front window. It’s a simple life and we’ve been doing it for quite some time now at this same location.
