You can find the office of H S Gupta & Associates down in the basement of the Navjeevan Complex. The address is 550 Station Road. Being down in the basement means it stays a bit cooler than the upper floors of the building, which is actually quite nice during the hotter months of the year. It is a bit tucked away, so you really have to look for the signs to find the stairs that lead down to our level. We have been in this specific spot for quite some time now. It is a functional space without any of those unnecessary frills you see in newer offices. We have our workstations set up and there is plenty of room for all the old records and files we have to keep track of for our work. Station Road is always buzzing right outside, so there is a constant hum of city life going on above us. We do not mind being in the basement at all; it feels a little more private and quiet for the kind of work we handle every day. Sometimes it can get a little bit dim if we do not have all the lights switched on, but it is a comfortable enough place to spend the day. People usually come to see us because they already know we are located here in Navjeevan. We do not do any fancy outreach or advertising. It is just us doing our thing day in and day out. It’s simple work.
