Gypsum Arts & Handicrafts

Down here at Gypsum Arts & Handicrafts, we spend most of our time surrounded by boxes and tools. Our address is D-275/A on Todarmal Marg, which is part of the Bani Park area. It’s a nice enough place to work, especially with the old trees lining the road. The building itself has been around for a bit, and you can tell by the way the floorboards creak in certain spots. We don’t mind it much. It gives the place some character. Working at D-275/A means we see a lot of the local traffic going by. Bani Park is usually bustling, but Todarmal Marg stays relatively calm compared to the main roads. Inside, things are usually a bit cluttered. We try to keep things in order, but when you’re busy, stuff just piles up on the tables. It’s not a place where you’ll find people in suits. Most of us wear whatever is comfortable for moving things around. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make coffee, and the smell usually drifts through the whole office by mid-morning. It’s a practical space. We don’t have any of those modern glass walls or fancy chairs. Just solid desks and enough light to see what we are doing. Being on Todarmal Marg feels right for what we do. It’s a steady kind of life at Gypsum Arts & Handicrafts, and we just take it one day at a time. It works for everyone.
