Gupta Communication

This is Gupta Communication over at 26 A near the Jaipur G P O. We’ve been here at this spot for some time now. It’s mostly about phones and recharges and fixing small issues people have with their devices. You know how it is, someone's screen breaks or they can't get their internet to work, and they come in looking for a quick fix. The shop is quite small, so it gets crowded pretty fast if more than three people walk in at once. I spend a lot of my day behind the counter looking at small parts or talking to people about which plan is better for them. It’s not a very quiet job because the main road is right there. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we just have to wait it out. I try to keep a few different cables and chargers in stock because people are always losing theirs. My brother helps me out sometimes in the afternoons when it gets really busy. We aren't doing anything big or special, just helping people stay connected with their phones. Most of our customers live nearby or work in the offices around the G P O. It’s a decent living, though some days are slower than others. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in. There’s always someone needing a new SIM card or a screen protector put on. It is a lot of repetitive work but it pays the bills.
