Our small office is at T-35 in Mayur Tower, which is right in the middle of Nehru Bazar. If you know Jaipur, you know how crowded and lively Nehru Bazar can get. It is full of shops and people all day long. We have been here at Goyal Vijay & Co for quite a while. Our space in Mayur Tower is quite modest. It’s mostly filled with stacks of papers and ledgers. We do a lot of accounting and tax work, so things can get a bit messy during the busy seasons. We don't have a lot of room for fancy furniture. Just some sturdy chairs and desks where we can focus. The sounds of the market come up through the windows, but we’ve learned to work through the noise. It’s a very central location, which makes it easy for our clients to drop by while they are out doing their shopping. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to get the numbers right. The lift in the building sometimes acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving. We are just local people doing our jobs in a busy part of the city. We have seen many businesses come and go in Nehru Bazar, but we just keep doing our thing from our corner in the tower. It is a bit cramped but we get the work done.
