Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School

This school is located right in the middle of a very busy part of Sanganer, specifically in the Raigarh Chhota Mohalla area. It’s on the Nagar Nigam Road, so there is always a lot of shouting and noise going on outside the gates from the local shops. Being a government girls' school, we have hundreds of students from the local neighborhood who walk here every morning. The building is quite old and has that specific style of government architecture you see everywhere. We don't have much of a front yard, just a small concrete space where the girls gather for their morning prayers. Inside, the corridors are usually quite narrow and they get very loud between classes. The teachers are always carrying heavy registers and bits of chalk. We try our best to keep the place tidy, but with so many students, it is a constant job. The desks are simple wood and metal, and sometimes they are a bit wobbly on the stone floors. We have a small office where we handle all the government forms and the student records. It’s a very practical environment with no fancy decorations or expensive equipment. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the girls attend their classes regularly. In the afternoons, the sun shines right into the rooms, so we use curtains made of old fabric to block the light. It’s a humble place, but it's part of the community.
