Our shop is G 48 in Indira Bazar. If you know the area at all, you know how crowded it gets with all the scooters and people moving through the narrow lanes. We’re traders, so our whole day is mostly spent on the phone or checking through paper invoices. We deal in various goods, depending on what the market actually needs at the time. The shop itself is quite small, filled with cardboard boxes from the floor all the way to the ceiling. There isn’t much room to sit down, so we’re usually on our feet. It’s a bit chaotic, especially during the festival seasons when everyone is trying to buy something at once. We’ve been in Indira Bazar for a long time now, and we’ve seen plenty of other shops come and go. We don't have a website or any social media; most of our business comes from people walking by or long-time contacts we've known for years. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use torches to see the stock in the back room. It’s not a fancy office, but it works well enough for us. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the big deliveries to arrive. Sometimes the traffic is so bad that the goods take forever to reach our door. We just take it as it comes. It's a traditional way of doing business, face to face and with a lot of talk.
