Goneka Industries

Down on Road No. 9-F in the V.K.I. Area, things are always moving fast. We are located at F-374, which is a pretty standard industrial shed like many others around here. Goneka Industries is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a tour; it’s mostly just metal, tools, and work benches. The V.K.I. Area is huge and it’s easy to get lost if you don't know the road numbers, but we’ve been here long enough to know every shortcut. Our gate is usually open from early morning because there's always a delivery arriving or someone picking something up. The office part is just a small corner partitioned off so we can keep the paperwork away from the grease and dust. We usually eat lunch together on the shop floor because going out takes too long with the traffic on the main roads. It gets loud and it’s definitely not a quiet desk job. We handle things as they come, sometimes working late if a machine breaks down or a deadline is tight. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here. If something needs fixing, whoever is closest grabs a wrench and gets to it. We just try to keep the production line moving and keep our heads down. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but that’s just how a real industrial shop is.
