Gokul Mobile Palace

Gokul Mobile Palace is right on Sanga Setu Road in Sanganer. If you walk along the road, you can't miss the shop because of all the glass windows showing different phone cases and accessories. It's a small place, really just a room filled with counters. We spend a lot of time sitting behind the glass waiting for people to come in with broken screens or asking for a recharge. The road outside is always busy with bikes and cars going toward the bridge. It gets a bit noisy, and we usually have to keep the door shut to keep some of the noise out. We spend our time putting on screen protectors, which is tricky because of the dust. Sometimes we have to do it two or three times to get it right. There’s a lot of chargers and cables hanging on the walls. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us here. In the afternoon, when it's slow, we mostly just sit and talk or look at the new models that come in. People from the neighborhood come in to ask about how to use their new phones or why their battery is dying so fast. We explain things as best as we can. The floor is tile and we try to keep it clean, but people bring in a lot of mud when it rains. It is just a regular shop where we do our daily business.
