We are Gilt Edge Architects Pvt Ltd and our office is in Jaipur. You can find us at 102 on the first floor of the Tirupati Trade Centre. This is right on Sansar Chand Road, which is a pretty major street in the city. It’s a standard commercial building with several other offices around us. Being on the first floor is nice because you don’t have to wait for the lift most of the time. The office itself is where we handle all the architectural planning and paperwork. It’s a functional space with drawing boards and computers everywhere. Jaipur is a city with a lot of history in its buildings, and being located here definitely influences how we think about our work. The road outside is usually buzzing with traffic, and the sound of horns is something we just don't notice anymore. We aren't into having a flashy showroom; we prefer to focus on the technical side of things. There’s usually a pot of tea going and a lot of talk about current projects. The staff here is small and we’ve worked together for a good bit of time. We keep things pretty informal. If you come by, you’ll likely see us buried under a pile of blueprints or arguing over a specific detail in a plan. It’s just how we get things done every day in this office without any of the corporate fluff you might find elsewhere.
