We are situated right in the heart of Jaipur at Johari Bazaar. Our workspace is inside Bohra Bhawan, which is an old family building belonging to the Bohras. It is on K.G.B. Ka Rasta, which is one of those narrow lanes that stays busy from morning until late at night. You can always hear the rickshaws honking and people shouting in the market outside. Abhika Bohra handles things here, and it often feels more like a home than a strict corporate office. We have desks tucked into different corners of the rooms and plenty of storage for all our design documents. The building has a lot of character, though the stairs are a bit steep if you are carrying heavy folders. During the afternoons, it gets quite warm, so we usually have some cold water and take a quick break. We don't have a big reception area or any shiny signs. Most people just find us by knowing the building name or asking the local shopkeepers. It is a bit chaotic because of the location, but we like being in the middle of all the activity. We spend most of our time at our computers or sketching out ideas on paper. It is a simple way of working, surrounded by the history of the old city. We just focus on the projects at hand and try to keep things moving despite the noise from the bazaar.
