Gangaur Art & Crafts

Gangaur Art & Crafts is tucked away at 718 Subhash Chowk. If you know the Bari Ka Bag area, we are right there near Bandri Ka Nasik. It's a bit of a maze getting here if it's your first time, but we like the spot. We spend our days working on different pieces. There is usually sawdust or paint on someone’s hands. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. Just the workshop and where we keep the finished items. Some days are quieter than others. We listen to the radio while we work. The neighborhood is lively, always something going on outside the door. We make things because that’s what we’ve always done. It’s local work. Sometimes a piece takes longer than expected, but we don't like to rush things too much. Our tools are old but they still work perfectly fine for what we do. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time now. Neighbors stop by to chat quite often. It feels like a small community here. We pack things up carefully when they're done. The space is a bit crowded with materials, but we know where everything is. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. No big fuss about it. We just keep busy with the crafts and try to stay productive until it’s time to close up for the night.
