We are Gad Fashion India Pvt. Ltd. over in the Riico Industrial Area in Mansarover. It’s at No. G-152. It’s mostly just a lot of sewing machines and rolls of cloth piled up near the walls. We’ve been here a while. The morning starts early when everyone gets in. Usually, it’s noisy because of the fans and the machines going all at once, but we’re used to it. The area is pretty industrial, lots of other sheds around us, and it gets dusty when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We mostly handle garments. People ask what we do exactly, and well, we just make clothes. It isn't very fancy. We have the cutting tables in the back and the packing happens near the front door where the trucks can pull up easily. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we sit outside and wait for it to come back. It's just a regular workplace where folks come to do their shift and then go home to their families. We keep things simple here. No big fancy offices or anything like that. Just the floor space and the work. If you find yourself in the Riico area, you might see our sign. It’s nothing special, just a place where we put in the hours and get the orders out. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the whole building after the sewing needles. That’s about it really.
