Filisthan Hair Dressers is right in the heart of Gangori Bazar. If you know Jaipur, you know how busy this market gets. We are in the 302001 area, which is always moving. I’ve spent many years here in the bazar. The shop is small but it’s been here a long time. It gets very crowded on festival days because of the location. We just focus on cutting hair and shaving. Nothing too special about the decor, just old-fashioned mirrors and comfortable chairs. People from all over come to Gangori Bazar, and some stop by for a quick trim. It’s a bit of a walk through the market to get to us. The sounds of the bazar are always in the background. Sometimes it’s hard to hear each other over the traffic. But that’s just life in this part of Jaipur. I’ve seen many shops change hands around here, but Filisthan Hair Dressers stays put. We use the same methods we always have. It’s honest work. My hands are busy from morning till late evening. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s a very old part of town. I like the history of Gangori Bazar.
