Fancy Kutir Udyog

Walking into our place at J-91 (B) near Ashok Chowk, you’ll probably notice it’s a bit cramped with materials and half-finished projects. Adarsh Nagar is a busy neighborhood, and we fit right in with the noise and the constant movement of people outside. Fancy Kutir Udyog started as a small idea among a few of us who wanted to work for ourselves. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a receptionist to greet you at the door. Most of the time, someone is just shouting over the hum of the machines to get a point across. We handle a lot of different tasks throughout the day, from checking the quality of the raw materials we get to packing up boxes for transport. It’s not always organized, but we know where everything is kept. The heat in the afternoon can be a bit much, but we keep the windows open and just get on with it. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to see what we are making this week. It’s a community-based kind of vibe here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city, just a steady one that provides work for the folks around here. Every day brings a new set of small problems to solve, whether it’s a machine breaking down or a delivery being late, but that is just how things go when you run a small business in a place like this.
