Expeditors International (India) Pvt. Ltd. is on the third floor of the City Centre building on S.C. Road. Being on the 3rd floor means we get a bit of a view of the chaos on the street below, which is always interesting. City Centre is a busy spot, so there are always people coming and going from different offices. Our space is room 329, and it is pretty much what you would expect from a busy office. There are computers everywhere, piles of papers that need filing, and phones that never seem to stop ringing. We handle a lot of moving parts for people, mostly dealing with shipping and freight stuff. It is a lot of tracking numbers and checking schedules to make sure things are where they need to be. We don't really have time for a lot of small talk, but we do manage to share a laugh when things get too hectic. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so we often end up taking the stairs if we are in a hurry. S.C. Road is right in the middle of everything, so it’s convenient but very noisy. We are just a group of people working hard to keep things moving. It isn't a fancy setup, but it’s our home for eight or nine hours every day. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized.
