Ekta Beauty Spa & Salon

Our salon is located at Plot No.35 -A in the Rseb Colony area of Vaishali Nagar. We are in D-Block, right across from the Inox Cinema. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so we don’t have to give many directions. Being near a cinema means there is always someone walking by, especially in the evenings when a big movie lets out. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the neighborhood has changed around us. The colony is usually quiet during the morning, which is when we get most of our cleaning done. We set out the brushes and check the shampoos. The spa part of the business is in the back where it’s a bit darker and quieter. We try to keep the front area where we do hair very bright. Sometimes the smell of popcorn from across the street drifts over. It’s a typical Jaipur day here most of the time, hot and dusty, so we keep the fans going. Our customers are mostly people who live nearby or work in the shops around the Inox. We don’t go for anything too flashy. The walls are a simple color and we keep our tools where we can reach them easily. It’s a lot of work keeping a salon running in D-Block, but we enjoy the routine of it. We just open up, serve whoever walks in, and head home after the last customer. It is a long day but we are used to it by now.
