East Handicrafts

We are situated at number 6, right near the Hotel Country Inn on Park Street, just off M I Road. It is a good location because it is central, but we are not in one of those big malls. Our shop is a bit more modest. We deal in handicrafts, mostly stuff that we pick up from local makers or try to finish ourselves. The inventory changes quite a bit depending on what we can get our hands on. Sometimes we have a lot of wooden items, and other times it is more about textiles or metal work. We do not have a big marketing budget, so we just put a sign out front and hope people notice it. The floor is made of old stone and it stays cool in the summer, which is nice. We do not have a lot of employees, usually just one or two of us here to answer questions. We do not try to push people into buying things they do not want. If you want to just look around and see what we have, that is perfectly fine with us. We have had some of the same items on the shelves for months, waiting for the right person to come along. It is not a high-pressure environment. We just show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It is a quiet way to run a business in a busy city like Jaipur.
