Dusad Handicraft

Located at 685 Santosh Bhawan, Dusad Handicraft is right there on Jat Ke Kuweka Rasta within Chandpole Bazar. It is a very traditional area, and our shop fits right in with the rest of the neighborhood. We focus on handmade goods, so our rooms are usually filled with the tools of the trade and various items in different stages of completion. It can get a bit dusty and crowded, but that’s just how a real craft shop looks. We don't have a polished showroom. Instead, you see the work as it is. Being in Chandpole Bazar means we are surrounded by other traders and artisans. The energy of the market keeps us going. We’ve stayed in this building for many years because it’s where we feel comfortable. We aren't interested in moving to a modern office park. The work we do requires patience and a steady hand, and we just take it one piece at a time. It’s a humble setup without any bells or whistles. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make things. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the street gets blocked, but we just carry on. It’s just the daily life of a small handicraft business in a busy city. We take the work as it comes and try to do right by it. That is how things have always been for us. We don't plan to change anything soon. It works for us.
