Dream Corner

You can find us at Tonk Road, right at the Gopal Pura Mode. It is a busy intersection and there is always something happening outside the door. We called it Dream Corner because it’s our little spot on the corner. We sell all sorts of things, whatever people in the neighborhood seem to need. The shop is small and we have stuff stacked up to the ceiling in some places. We know the traffic lights by heart because we watch them change all day. Sometimes we sit on a stool outside when it’s not too hot. We see the students walking to their coaching classes and the office people waiting for buses. It’s a lot of noise from the horns, but you get used to it. We don't have a big team or a marketing person. It’s just us. We keep the shop open early and close it late. Sometimes we forget to restock a shelf and have to apologize to the regulars. We are just trying to make a living like everyone else. The Gopal Pura Mode area is always growing with new flyovers and buildings. But our corner stays the same. We are just a local shop where you can stop for a minute. That’s all there is to it. We are not a big company. We are just the people at the corner shop on Tonk Road.
