Dhola Maru

We've been over here at 71 Gupta Garden for a while now. Amer Road gets pretty busy with all the traffic heading toward the fort, but it's home to us. It’s just a small spot where we keep things simple. Most days, we’re just busy sorting through what’s come in or chatting with whoever stops by the door. Some people find us easily, others take a minute because of how the road winds. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working and keeping the place running. There’s always dust from the street, but that’s just how it is around here. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes boxes pile up in the corners when we get a big delivery. You might see us sitting outside when it’s not too hot. It isn't a huge operation, just a regular place where we do our work every day. We know the neighbors and they know us. Sometimes we run out of chai and have to send someone down the street. It gets loud with the horns honking outside, but you get used to it after a few years. We just focus on getting the day's tasks done and making sure everything is where it should be. If you’re passing by Amer Road, you’ll see our door near the garden area. We’re usually there from morning until the sun starts to go down.
