Dev Hair Dresser

Our shop is located right on the Main Road in Naraina. If you are traveling down Sakhun Road, you really can’t miss us. It is a busy stretch of road here in this part of Jaipur. Dev Hair Dresser has been a part of this street for a long time. It is a typical small-town hair shop where everyone knows everyone else. We do not spend money on fancy decorations or big advertisements. The walls have some old pictures on them, and the chairs are broken in from years of use. People stop by when they are passing through Naraina for work or just heading home to the village. The dust from the road comes in sometimes when the door is open, but that is just how it is here. We keep a couple of spray bottles and our scissors ready. It is mostly just haircuts and shaves. Nothing complicated. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or keep working if there is enough light from the street. It is a very straightforward place. You sit down, we do the hair, and you go on your way. Most of our customers are farmers or local workers who have been coming to us for years. We like being on the main road because there is always something to see out the window. It is just a small shop doing regular work for the people in Naraina. (246 words)
