Department Of Chemistry

You can find us right near the University of Rajasthan on JLN Marg. Being part of the Department of Chemistry means there is always a bit of a smell in the air, mostly like old books and maybe some vinegar or cleaning supplies. It's an old building. The walls could use some paint, but the labs are where everything happens. We spend a lot of time looking at beakers and writing notes in stained journals. Students are always rushing around, looking stressed about their exams or some experiment that didn't go right. It's a bit chaotic during the semester. We aren't a big corporation; it's more like a group of people who just really like science. The G P O is close by, which is handy for mail and packages. During the winter, the campus is beautiful, but the labs stay cold. We have these heavy wooden doors that creak every time someone walks in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around. We talk about research over tea at the canteen nearby. It's not a fancy life. It's mostly just hard work and trying to figure out how things react with each other. A lot of the equipment is old, but we know how to handle it. It's a community of sorts. We’ve been here for years, and the stairs are worn down from all the footsteps that pass through here every single day while we work.
