Delhi Trading Corporation

We are based in Jaipur, specifically at 5-Kha-46 in the Housing Board area of Shastri Nagar. Delhi Trading Corporation is basically a small trading house where we manage a lot of inventory and shipping. Our space is filled with boxes and ledgers. Shastri Nagar is a busy place, and the streets around the housing board can be a bit narrow for the bigger delivery vans, but we make it work. Most days are spent on the phone talking to suppliers or checking the stock levels in the back. It’s not the kind of job you see in movies; it’s mostly just making sure the numbers match and the orders go out to the right people in Jaipur. We’ve been in this 302016 area long enough to know the mailman and the tea guy by name. The office isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. Sometimes the heat in Jaipur makes the afternoon sluggish, but we keep the fans going and stay on top of the paperwork. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy here. It’s just a few of us making sure the trading business keeps moving. It’s simple, steady work that doesn't require a lot of fuss. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. That’s how we’ve always operated here in the neighborhood.
