You can find us at 2197 in the Gandhi Market area. Specifically, we are on the road known as Bordi Ke Kuwe Ka Rasta, which leads into the busy Gangori Bazar. It’s a very old and traditional part of the city, so it’s always packed with people, smells of street food, and the sounds of various trades. Agarwal Sales Corporations is a trading firm, and our shop is filled with all kinds of stuff from floor to ceiling. There’s barely enough room to walk between the shelves sometimes. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just a functional space where we talk to customers and wholesalers. The heat in the market can be quite something in May, but we just keep the doors open and the ceiling fans on high. Most of our day is spent negotiating prices on the phone or checking the quality of the latest shipment that arrived on a rickshaw. We don't use any corporate slogans or have a long-term strategy written down. We just focus on what needs to be sold today and what needs to be ordered for tomorrow. The street outside is so narrow that two cars can't pass each other, so there is always some shouting and honking going on. It’s a lively place to work. We like the connection we have with the other shopkeepers in the bazaar. It feels like a big family, even when things get stressful or the market gets too crowded.
