Aggarwal Hardware & Sanitary

Our shop, Aggarwal Hardware & Sanitary, sits at A-9 right near Pareek School. We are on the Hazi Colony Corner on Jhotwara Road. Jhotwara is always crowded, so there is always something happening outside the front door. We sell a lot of different things, from basic nails and tools to bathroom fittings and pipes. It's a typical hardware store where things are stacked up to the ceiling in some aisles. You walk in and it might look a bit messy, but we usually know where everything is. People from the neighborhood stop in because they have a leak at home or they are building something new. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about which washer fits which tap. It’s not a fancy showroom. We have dust on the shelves and the floor needs sweeping every few hours because of all the foot traffic. Being near the school means it gets really loud in the afternoons when the kids come out. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to come in looking for a specific bolt. Sometimes we don't have exactly what someone wants, so we have to order it in. It's just a regular local business trying to keep enough stock for everyone in Hazi Colony. We’ve been on this corner for a bit and seen the road get busier every year.
