Dayanand Arts & Crafts

Dayanand Arts & Crafts is located at J-15 on Bais Godam Road No 2, right in Sharma Colony. It’s not really a shop where you walk in and see everything on display. It’s more of a working space. We spend most of our time in the back where the actual making happens. There is always the sound of tools and the smell of wood or polish in the air. We make a variety of traditional items. Our space is usually a mess of materials and half-finished projects. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases. If you come by, you’ll see us in our work clothes, probably covered in dust. Bais Godam is a busy, industrial area with lots of small workshops like ours. We’ve been here for quite a while now. It’s a family business, so everyone chips in when there is a big order to finish. We don't do any marketing or have a sales team. People find us because they saw something we made for someone else. We just focus on doing the work properly. Sometimes we stay late into the night when we have a deadline. It’s not glamorous, and the pay isn't always great, but we like creating things with our hands. We are just regular people trying to keep these old crafts going in our own small way.
