Dalmia Exports

Kamal Niwas is where we stay busy most of the year. Being right here in Kishan Pole Bazar means there is always noise outside. It’s one of those parts of town where you can’t really find a quiet moment, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our office isn't anything special to look at. We have some old wooden desks and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. Dealing with exports means a lot of paperwork, so we spend a good chunk of our day just making sure the stamps are in the right place. My cousin helps out with the packing when things get rushed. Sometimes the tea man from down the street comes by twice because we forget we already had some. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a website that looks like a big company's. We just do the work and send the shipments out from Kamal Niwas. The traffic in the bazaar can be a real headache when the delivery vans are trying to get through. You have to know the shortcuts around here if you want to get anywhere on time. It’s a crowded spot, but it’s where we’ve always been. We don’t really see a reason to move somewhere quieter when all the action is right here. We like being close to the other shops and knowing all the neighbors by name. It makes the long days go by faster.
