If you’re looking for D P Khandelwal & Co, we’re over at Akul Chamber on Sahakar Marg. The office is H-4, and we’re right opposite J P Pathak in the Tonk Pathak area. It’s a busy part of Jaipur, especially during the morning rush. I’ve been coming to this same building for years now. The office isn’t very big, and it’s tucked away in a corner of the chamber. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and metal cupboards filled with files. We don’t have any of those modern open-plan layouts. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, especially when we have a few people visiting at once, but we make it work. The fan overhead makes a little clicking noise that I’ve stopped noticing after all this time. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background or just the sound of traffic from Sahakar Marg drifting in through the windows. It’s a very straightforward place. D P Khandelwal is usually here early, and we stay until the work is done. There isn’t much to say about the decor because there isn't any. We just have what we need to get through the day. It’s a regular office for regular work. Sometimes we go across the street for a break, but mostly we’re just here, sitting at our desks and dealing with whatever paperwork is on top of the pile that day. It is just a normal spot for getting through the mountain of tasks each week.
