D A V Senior Secondary School is at Plot No 16 in Agrasen Colony. We are tucked away in the Khurra Brahmpuri area of Jaipur. This is an older part of the city with narrow streets and a lot of traditional houses. Our school building fits right into the neighborhood. It’s been here for quite some time, and it has that old Jaipur feel to it. The classrooms are simple, and the courtyard is where everyone gathers for the morning assembly. We have a lot of students because Brahmpuri is a crowded place. The teachers often have to talk loudly to be heard over the sounds of the neighborhood. We are a senior secondary school, so we see kids grow up from young children into young adults. There is a lot of paperwork to handle in the office, and the wooden cabinets are full of old records. Being in Agrasen Colony means we are right in the middle of the community. People know us, and we know them. The address 302001 is right in the heart of the old city. It isn't always the most organized place, and things can get a bit cramped, but we make it work every day. It’s just a regular school where people come to do their work. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just old fans that keep the air moving.
