Crafts Corner

Being right at 34, Opp. Hawa Mahal means we see a lot of tourists and locals every single day. Crafts Corner isn’t a huge place, but it stays pretty packed with items from floor to ceiling. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, but we try to keep up with it. We spend most of our time sorting through new stock and showing people around the shelves. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes. You have to watch your step so you don’t knock anything over. We’ve been across from the palace for a long time now. It’s a loud area with all the horns and people shouting, but you get used to the noise after a week or two. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is in its place. Sometimes we have tea outside when it’s not too hot. We focus on the things we sell and making sure they’re what people are looking for. It's a lot of unpacking crates and putting things on display. Sometimes the inventory is a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. We don’t bother with fancy displays or bright lights. The items speak for themselves really. It’s just us here at number 34, doing what we do every day. It's busy, it's a bit hectic, but it's home to us.
