Comate Education Point

Comate Education Point is right at the Kanta Chouraha in Jhotwara. It’s a very busy spot because of the SBI ATM nearby, so there is always a crowd outside. Our place is at number 429 in Jagannathpuri. Because of the location, you can always hear the buses and the horns honking, but we’ve put up some thick curtains to help with that. The rooms are a bit small, but we managed to fit enough benches for everyone. We have a small shelf where we keep all the extra registers and some old textbooks. The floor is made of that old-style marble which stays cold in the winter, so everyone keeps their shoes on. We have a tiny pantry where we make tea, and the smell of cardamom often drifts into the hallway. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a few minutes for the backup to kick in. It’s just part of being in this part of town. We don’t have a website that works properly, so most people just find us by seeing the board when they go to the bank. It is a bit chaotic at times, especially when a session ends and everyone tries to leave the building at once. But it’s a good kind of busy. We just keep things moving and make sure there’s enough chalk for the day.
