We’ve been down here in the basement of Crown Plaza for a while now. If you head down to LG-28, that is where you will find us. Vaishali Nagar is always busy, but down here it stays a bit cooler and quieter. Usually, the day starts with dusting off the shelves and checking what came in yesterday. It is just a small space, not too fancy or anything. We spend most of our time organizing things so people can actually find what they are looking for when they walk in. Some days it is just us and the security guard from upstairs chatting for a bit while we wait for the morning rush to start. The lights in the basement are okay, but we try to keep things bright enough so you don't trip. Sometimes the lift works and sometimes it doesn’t, so people just take the stairs down. It is a simple routine really. We open up, get the tea from the corner stall, and then see who comes through the door. There is no big secret to how we do things here. We just try to keep the stock updated and make sure the place is clean. Sometimes people get lost looking for the basement entrance since it’s tucked away a bit, but once they find us, they usually stay for a bit to browse. It is just a regular shop run by regular people who like being in this part of town.
