Ganpati Craft

Our workshop is over in Champa Nagar, right near Gurjar Ki Thari on Ns Road. The traffic outside is always a mess, but inside we are usually focused on the crafts. At Ganpati Craft, we have a lot of items that are made by hand, so there is always a lot of raw material sitting in the corners. We have stacks of wood, some fabric, and boxes of small parts everywhere. The light comes in through the front door, and you can see the dust dancing in the air. We aren't a big factory; it's more like a group of people sitting around and working on things bit by bit. Sometimes the noise from the Ns Road is so loud we have to shout to hear each other. We spend our days checking the work and making sure everything is put together right. The floor is never really clean because there’s always a scrap of something falling. We have a small bench where we sit for lunch, and we usually watch the people rushing by outside. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it by now. We don’t have any fancy displays, just the work we do every day. By the time we close up, the street is still busy, but we are ready to head home. It is a very normal place with people working hard.
