Central Academy Senior Secondary School

Central Academy Senior Secondary School is right on Kukundpura Road in the Mukandpura area of Jaipur. We’ve been here for a while, and the building is a familiar sight for everyone in the neighborhood. Every morning, the sun hits the front gates and the dust from the road starts to kick up as the buses arrive. It's not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. We have solid stone floors and classrooms that get quite warm when the Rajasthan summer really kicks in. The teachers usually spend their mornings getting their lesson plans ready in the small staff room, which is often a bit cluttered with notebooks and tea cups. We try to keep the water coolers working and the fans spinning because it’s the only way to stay comfortable. The kids are always running around the yard before the first bell, and you can hear their voices echoing all the way to the main road. We do a lot of our record-keeping in big physical ledgers in the front office. Parents stop by to talk about their kids or to sort out some fees, and we just sit and chat with them on the old chairs we have near the entrance. It’s a busy, loud, and very ordinary place to work. We just focus on the day-to-day things that need to happen to keep the school running smoothly for the families who live nearby.
