I’m Shalini Jain. You can find my office at Plot No. 25, Ganesh Vihar - B, in Rail Nagar (East), near Tonk Road. This area is a bit more residential, which I actually prefer. It’s quieter than the main roads of Jaipur. I’ve set up my practice here to stay close to the community. My daily routine involves a lot of reading through tax documents and making sure my clients are on the right track. It’s just me and my workspace. I don't want a big, intimidating office. I want people to feel okay coming in with their shoeboxes of receipts or their messy bank statements. We just sit down and sort it out. I’ve always liked math and logic, so being a CA made sense for me. Tonk Road is close by, so it’s not hard for people to reach me, but Ganesh Vihar itself is a nice little pocket of peace. I take my work seriously, but I’m not a robot. I like to chat a bit with the folks who come by. We talk about the weather or the local news while we go over the numbers. It makes the day go by faster. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and I’m happy doing it here. My desk is usually covered in sticky notes because I like to remind myself of the small things. It's just my way of working through the pile. I keep the office tidy but it’s a lived-in space.
