You can find Ca Shailendra Agarwal right in the middle of the city at Ganpati Plaza. Our office is number 448 on the fourth floor. It’s a big building, and sometimes the corridors can feel like a maze if you aren’t used to it. I usually take the lift, but on busy days, it’s faster to just walk up. MI Road is always packed with tourists and shoppers, so getting to work in the morning can be a bit of a challenge. Once I’m inside, though, it’s just the usual routine. The office has a lot of sunlight in the afternoons, which is nice, even if it makes the room a bit warm. We’ve got stacks of folders everywhere because there’s always something to be filed or checked. It isn’t the most organized-looking place in the world, but we know where everything is. Shailendra has his own way of doing things, very old school and straightforward. We don’t use any complicated systems, just pen, paper, and the computer when we have to. It’s a very practical environment. I like being in this part of Jaipur because everything is close by. If we need something, we just step out onto MI Road and it’s right there. It’s a lot of work, and the days can be long, but that’s just how it goes when you’ve got an office in a place like this.
