Ca Bhom Thanvi

Bani Park is usually pretty quiet compared to the rest of Jaipur. We are over here at D-26 on Todar Mal Marg. It’s a nice enough spot. Sometimes the mornings are a bit slow when you first open up the office and get the fans going. It’s an old neighborhood, so you see the same faces walking by every day. The name Ca Bhom Thanvi has been on the gate for a while now. We don’t really do anything fancy here, just come in and get the work done. The desk gets dusty fast because of the road, but that’s just how it is in this city. You can hear the birds in the trees outside during the afternoon. Sometimes someone drops by without calling first because they were just passing through Bani Park. It’s easy enough to find if you know the landmark, though the house numbers can be a bit confusing if you’re new to the lane. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever paperwork comes in. It’s not a big corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. Just a regular office where we spend most of our hours. Some days the tea guy comes by twice, other days we forget to even ask. It’s just a steady rhythm of working and watching the traffic outside. Most people who come here have been coming for years. We just keep things simple and try to stay organized.
