Bright Iron Traders

Our place, Bright Iron Traders, is located on Sansar Chandra Road, right near the Shivam Hotel. It’s a busy part of the Sindhi Camp area, so there is always a lot of movement and noise from the buses and travelers nearby. We have a modest setup here. The front of the shop is usually busy with people asking about prices or checking the quality of the iron we have in stock. It’s not a quiet job. Between the traffic outside and the handling of the metal, it’s always loud. We don’t have a big team—just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. We know the regulars, the local contractors, and the guys who just need a few pieces for a home repair. The shop is a bit cramped because iron takes up a lot of room, and we try to keep a bit of everything on hand. Sometimes the inventory gets a little disorganized when a big delivery comes in, but we sort it out eventually. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We buy iron, we store it, and we sell it to people who need it. It’s a practical business. We drink a lot of chai to keep going through the afternoon slump. Being near the hotel means we see a lot of new faces, but our core is the local community that’s been around Sansar Chandra Road.
