Bombay Hair Drasser

You can find Bombay Hair Drasser over at Shop No 258 in the Chand Bihari area. We are tucked away in Khatipura, right near the Shani Mandir, which makes us pretty easy to locate if you are familiar with this part of Jaipur. The name on the sign says Hair Drasser, and that’s what we’ve stuck with since we opened up here. It’s a local spot where men from the neighborhood come to get their hair cut or a beard trim. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the scissors and razors. The shop is small and can get a bit tight when three or four people are waiting on the bench, but everyone is patient. We see a lot of kids coming in with their dads on the weekends. Being near the temple means there is always something happening outside, and we like the noise and the energy of the street. We keep our tools sharp and our towels as clean as we can. It’s an old-school kind of place where you can just sit down and get your hair sorted without any fuss. The walls have some old posters and the floor is a bit worn from all the walking, but it feels like home to us. We’ve been serving the Khatipura community for a long time now and we plan to stay right here at shop 258 for many more years.
