Bhawani Watches & Mobile

We have been here at 129 KGB Ka Rasta in Johari Bazar for quite some time now. It is a small place, but we keep busy with all the watches and mobile phones people bring in. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded because the street outside is always full of people moving around. We spend most of our day fixing screens or changing batteries for old wristwatches that someone’s grandfather used to wear. It is a lot of fine work, especially with the tiny gears inside those mechanical clocks. My hands get a bit dirty from the oil, but that is just part of it. People stop by when they need a new phone cover or if their charger stops working suddenly. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Just some glass counters and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. The lights inside could be brighter, I suppose. It gets hot in the afternoons during summer, so we keep the fan running full speed. Most of our neighbors know us by name since we see them every morning when opening the shutters. If you are walking down Johari Bazar, you might miss the turn into KGB Ka Rasta if you aren't looking. We are usually here from morning until late evening, just doing our thing. It's not a big corporate office, just a shop where we handle electronics and timepieces as best as we can every single day. We keep some extra watch straps in the drawer too.
