Bhawani Gents Parlour

Our shop, Bhawani Gents Parlour, is located at Shop No 4 in Pratap Market on Gandhipath Road. We are in the Vaishali Nagar area of Jaipur, which is usually quite busy. One of the main things near us is the Pratap Marriage Garden. Because of that, we see a lot of people during the wedding season who need to get ready for functions. The shop itself is just a regular place for men to get a haircut or a shave. We have the usual black chairs and mirrors on the walls. It is not a corporate salon, just a small business run by us. Some days it is very quiet and we just watch the cars and bikes go past on Gandhipath Road. Other times, every chair is full and people are waiting on the bench. We have a couple of people working here to handle the customers. We keep some old magazines on a small table for people to read while they wait. The lights inside are bright and we try to keep things organized. It is hard to keep the floor perfectly clean when it’s busy, but we do our best with the broom. We have been in this market for a while and like seeing the same faces come back. It is just a simple gents parlour for the local neighborhood. We usually stay open all day long and only close when the market gets quiet at night.
