Our workshop is at M-1 in the Income Tax Colony over in Durgapura. We work with stone, which is a messy and loud job, but we enjoy it. We do all kinds of stone art and carving right here in our space. It’s not like those big factories you see; it’s more of a personal workshop where we use our hands and tools to shape the blocks. Durgapura is a decent place to be based, and being in the colony makes it feel like we are part of the neighborhood. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases or bright lights. Most of the time, the floor is covered in stone dust and there are half-finished pieces sitting around the yard. We’ve been doing this for a while, and we’ve learned that you can't really rush stone work. It takes the time it takes. People come to us when they want something specific made, like a decorative piece for their garden or something for their house. We don't talk a lot about artistic vision or things like that. We just look at the stone and try to figure out the best way to cut it. Our clothes are usually grey from the dust by the time we go home. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. If you want to see what we do, you just have to stop by the workshop at M-1. We are usually there from morning until the sun goes down.
