Bhartia Arts & Crafts

We are located in the Sitapura Industrial Area under the name Bhartia Arts & Crafts. This area is mostly factories and warehouses, so it’s a very industrial setting. Our building is like all the others around here—concrete and functional. We spend our time working on different arts and crafts projects. It’s a lot of manual labor, using tools and materials that we’ve used for years. The noise from the other shops in Sitapura is always in the background. We don’t have a storefront where people walk in off the street. Most of our work is done for clients who already know what we do. We have some workbenches that have seen better days, but they still work fine for what we need. The floor is usually covered in scraps of wood or metal or whatever we are working with that week. We eat our lunch together in the small break area we set up in the corner. There’s no big management team here; just the owners and a few workers who know the trade well. We don’t put much stock in fancy branding or logos. We just care about finishing the crafts and making sure they look right. Being in the Sitapura Industrial Area means we are close to our suppliers, which makes things a bit easier for the day-to-day operations. It’s a steady life and we keep to ourselves mostly.
