Beauty Mantras

Beauty Mantras is over at 61, Varishtha Marg, in the Nemisagar Colony part of Vaishali Nagar. It’s a residential area, so things are usually pretty quiet on our street. We set this up to help the local women who don't want to go all the way to the main market for a quick threading or facial. The shop feels a bit like a home since we're in a house, really. We do the usual stuff like waxing and hair trims. The walls are a bit plain, and we have some old magazines on a plastic table for when there is a short wait. Vaishali Nagar is growing fast, but our corner on Varishtha Marg still feels tucked away. We get a lot of aunties from the colony who come in to talk while we work on their hair. We don't have a big reception desk. Usually, one of us just looks up and says hello when someone walks in. The lighting is okay, and we try to keep it clean, but on Saturdays, it gets messy with hair and bits of thread on the floor. It’s just an honest beauty parlor where we work hard and look after the neighbors. We’ve been at number 61 for a while now and we like the people here. It’s nothing fancy to look at, but it gets the job done. We even keep a few plants by the door to make it feel a little more welcoming for everyone who stops by during the week.
