Bauty Gents Hair Cut is tucked away in Durga Mata Gali. We are at shop number 219, right near the Durga Mata Mandir in Durgapura. It is a busy little street in Jaipur. You can usually hear the temple bells from inside the shop while we work. We have been cutting hair here for a good amount of time now. The space is small, so it gets crowded quickly. We have some old posters on the walls to give people something to look at. The chairs have some wear on them, but they still work fine for what we need. We get a lot of locals coming in before they go to work or after they finish. It is a simple place where men come to tidy up. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of fans that hum all day long. Sometimes we have to wait for the power to come back on, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We know the families around here. It feels like home to us. The floor is concrete and we try to keep it clear of hair as much as we can. There is always a newspaper laying around for people to read while they wait. We aren't trying to be a big salon. Just a local barber shop where you can get a decent cut without any fuss. It's a practical spot for the neighborhood.
