It started out small here at Shree Shyam Tower. We’ve been at shops 3 and 4 for a while now. Most people around Chaksu know where the Kot Khavda Mod is, and that is where you’ll find us. It’s just a regular place for men to get a haircut or a shave. We don’t have fancy stuff, just the basic tools and some chairs. Usually, it gets busy on weekends because people have some time off. I try to keep things clean, but it is a busy spot near the tower. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud. People come in, sit down, talk about the weather or whatever is going on in Jaipur, and then leave once they are done. It’s not a big corporate setup. Just a shop in the district where we do our work every day. I’ve seen kids grow up coming here. Some regulars have been with us since we opened at this address. The chairs are old but comfortable enough for a twenty-minute cut. We don’t use complicated apps for booking; people just walk in. If the shop is full, there’s a bench outside or you can wait a bit. Life in Chaksu is steady, and we just fit into that rhythm. Nothing more, nothing less. We open early most days. The light in the morning is quite good in the shop. It is just a simple life running a gents parlour here in the tower.
