Baker'S Pride

Baker'S Pride is our little shop at D-7 on Kalidas Marg. We are located in the Bani Park area, which is a fairly quiet and nice part of the city. We have been here for a good number of years now. Our day starts way before the sun comes up because we have to get everything ready for the morning. You can usually smell the fresh bread and biscuits if you walk past D-7 early in the day. We aren't a big industrial bakery. We just have a small kitchen in the back and a counter in the front. Most of our customers are people who live right here in Bani Park and walk over to get their daily supplies. We know most of them by name and we know what they usually like to buy. Kalidas Marg is a pleasant street to work on. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big sign. The shop is simple and we like it that way. Sometimes we run out of things early and have to close up sooner than expected. That is just how it goes sometimes. We don't use any complicated machines, just our old ovens and our hands. It is a quiet life and we are happy just being the local bakery for the neighborhood. We just keep baking and serving whoever walks through the door.
