B. M Natha Exports

B. M Natha Exports is found at 2435 Bhindo Ka Rasta, near the third cross in Chandpole Bazar. Those narrow lanes are always crowded, as anyone who lives here can tell you. Every morning is a bit of a struggle to get the heavy shutters open because there are usually motorbikes parked right in the way. Once you get inside, it’s mostly just piles of boxes stacked up high against the walls. Since we deal with exports, there is cardboard and rolls of tape lying all over the place. The air around Chandpole Bazar stays thick with the smell of fried food and old exhaust. Our staff usually sits on small stools while they go through the items for the day. Outside, it gets incredibly loud with vendors shouting their prices and rickshaw horns going off every second. We lose track of the time easily since the old building doesn't have many windows to look out of. Most of the day is spent talking to the transporters and checking that the addresses on the crates are written clearly. It is a very old part of town, so the walls have some cracks and the paint is peeling, but it works for us. If the power goes out in the afternoon, we just sit on the front step and talk to the neighbors until it comes back on. It’s not the most organized looking shop, but we know where every single thing is kept. We usually finish up when the market gets quiet.
